01 Aug Construction Safety – No Laughing Matter?

Tim & I maintain our GC (General Contractor’s) and Home Inspector Licenses. For approximately 8 years or so, we’ve been so glad to have utilized the comedic services of Carmen Circillo, the Construction Comedian for our continuing education. Tim and I recently attended a 2 day live seminar conducted by Carmen in Daytona Beach. At least 100 contractors from the area including (but not limited to) general contractors, electricians, roofers, plumbers, mechanical, glass vendors, utility workers any many more were in attendance. Part of our continuing education is safety, which Carmen is an expert at making more enjoyable. We also have our employees attend regular workshops and seminars to learn the latest safety regulations and procedures. As recently as July we attended an OSHA fall protection seminar conducted locally. These events help us administer and maintain our weekly safety meetings in accordance with our high safety standards.
